Essential Qualifications
- Level III Certificate in Nursing

- Previous experience within the aged care sector

Role Summary
As an Assistant in Nursing in SummitCare you will be accountable to the Manager - Care & Lifestyle and Registered Nurse for the resident care areas within the centre. It is the responsibility of an Assistant in Nursing to ensure the day-to-day individual care needs of the residents are met and maintained, under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse. You will also be required to participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ongoing education programs to ensure that all aspects of resident care encompass the mission, vision and operating principles of the organisation.
