Role: Laundry Officer

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the frail and aged
- Knowledge of and commitment to continuous Quality Improvement, OH&S and Infection Control practices and principles
- Previous experience working in an industrial laundry
- Basic knowledge of laundry process and equipment.
Role Summary
As a Laundry Officer within SummitCare, you will be accountable to the Operations Manager and Manager - Accommodation Services for the day-to-day management of laundry duties for the facility. As part of the team you are accountable for the laundering of residents clothing and centre items and or distribution of laundered clothing back to the correct resident. You will also be required to participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ongoing education programs to ensure that all aspects of the laundry encompass the mission, vision and operating principles of the organisation.
