Diana Gan

Diana first joined SummitCare (then Summit Health Care) as the Care Manager at Canley Vale Aged Care Centre in August 2003, then was formally appointed as the Operations Manager in November 2006. Having worked in the aged care industry for both charitable, not for profit and for profit organizations since 1998, she is very familiar with the aged care sector. Her key responsibility is to provide sound business leadership to the centre and to ensure Canley Vale Aged Care Centre continues to achieve 3 yearly accreditations, provide peace of mind to our residents and families and support the Fairfield LGA's ageing population.

Diana is a Registered Nurse who graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Sydney in 1997. In 2000 Diana completed a Master of Nursing (specialising in adult education and change management), also with the University of Sydney.

Previous employment appointments include the position as Deputy Director of Nursing of a dementia specific hostel and Assistant Manager at a low level hostel both with Uniting Care Australia.
