Judith Leacock

Judith joined Summit Care as Operations Manager of St Marys Gardens Aged Care Centre in April 2003.  Her previous aged care experience included positions as Care Manager, Educator and Learning & Development Manager.  Judith is a Registered Nurse who holds a Graduate Certificate in Aged Care Management, an Advanced Diploma of Business Management and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration through the University of Ballarat.

Judith has also worked in the United Kingdom incorporating both clinical and managerial positions in acute care, and in the aged care sector.

Judith was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship (Professional Award) in 2004 and spent time researching initiatives in registered nurse recruitment and retention in the United States.

Judith was appointed General Manager - Operations in 2007 and in this role has responsibility for ensuring care and service delivery to residents in all SummitCare centres.  She represents SummitCare on various industry specific working parties and is a strong advocate for extending educational opportunities for all grades of staff within the aged care sector.
