Sue Smith

Sue joined SummitCare as the Operations Manager of Nyora Gardens Aged Care centre in 2001. Having worked in Aged Care in the acute hospital setting at Lidcombe Hospital for eight years and Residential Aged Care since 1992, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role. Sue is a Registered Nurse and Midwife and has also completed a certificate in Gerontology through Concord Hospital in 1997.

Sue has held previous roles as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Deputy Director of Nursing in a Dementia High Care facility and Care Coordinator in a low level hostel with Anglican Retirement Villages over a period of ten years.

Sue transferred from Nyora Gardens Aged Care centre, where her dedication to quality care and service along successfully achieved a 3 year accreditation in 2003 and 2008, to take on the role of Operations Manager for both Elizabeth Gardens & Elizabeth House.

Sue is committed to quality care and service for residents in her new role at Elizabeth Gardens and Elizabeth House and with her dedicated team works toward achieving successful outcomes for the centre's residents and staff.
