With over 50 years’ experience in supporting our ageing community and their families, SummitCare has grown to be a highly regarded, award-winning organisation that delivers person centered care based on the needs and choices of each individual.
We are proud of our staff, who are experienced, dedicated and celebrate the worth of everyone we support.
SummitCare planning and research
Our university links, staff education and learning approaches, our processes and our focus on strategic planning ensure we retain our position as an industy leader.
We offer care and support at home, respite care, low to high-level residential aged care and dementia-specific residential care and we offer Adult Day Centres. All our services have been recognised for excellence by the Aged Care Standards Agency and awarded maximum accreditation.
We ensure clear messages are delivered inside our organisation, to those we support and their family and friends. Our regular communication means everyone is kept informed.
Pride in diversity
SummitCare respects and values the diverse life experiences of our consumers, communities, staff and volunteers and is committed to the provision of services in a fair, equitable and inclusive manner. In doing so SummitCare recognises and acknowledges the diverse community and the range of needs and characteristics within our communities. This includes, but is not limited to, cultural diversity, sexual and gender diversity, disability, age, health and wellbeing, socio-economic status, faith and spirituality. At Summitcare it is everybody’s responsibility to ensure that respecting individuals and valuing diversity is considered in relation to all service provision, wellbeing and planning.
