Michelle joined SummitCare in July 2017. She holds an MBA and additional qualifications in both General and Obstetric Nursing, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). With extensive executive management experience across Aged Care, Private Hospitals, Pathology, Medical IT, and Medical Diagnostics, Michelle brings a breadth of strategic and operational expertise to her leadership roles. She currently serves as an Executive Director with SummitCare and as a Non-Executive Director with a Queensland-based Disability and NDIS organisation. Her previous board roles include Director of Macquarie Health and Adviser to the Southern Highlands Community Hospital. Michelle is recognised for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to foster cross-functional partnerships that drive performance and innovation. She is passionate about building independent, agile teams capable of responding effectively to the evolving needs of the health and aged-care sectors.
